SOGO Level 2 (Ages 10 - 14)
Running and Navigation
Through highly motivating activities and challenges, participants will navigate through adventure running stations as they learn about Adventure Running. The group works on the adventure running fundamentals: speed, strength and agility, endurance and navigation. Brand new to adventure running? No problem! We’re excited to have you. Our experienced coaches are able to provide extra coaching support and well as group kids up for peer support to get new runners up to speed in no time. New this fall!! Within our Level 2 group will have a "Level 2+". Have you been enjoying level 2 for a while but would like something a little more challenging?? This season we will have some more challenging for those level 2's who have a few seasons under their belt but are not sure if they are ready to make the leap to Navigators. What are some of these challenges you ask? Learning the acronym CAR (control-attackpoint-route), running longer legs between controls to gain endurance training, speed related courses & comparing which way was faster and learning to run short distances on your own by being prepared. Parents - register your child in Level 2. We'll reach out after registration to discuss your child's goals for L2 this year. Ages are calculated based on the participant's age as of Oct 15th of this year so if your SOGO participant has a birthday during the SOGO season, you are able to register them in a program based on their age at the end of the SOGO season. Fees
$125 for five 90 min sessions Level 2 Eligibility
Limited registration will be available from Aug 29-Sep 9th for an additional $30 fee and any missed session will not be prorated*. Please email [email protected] if you want to register after Aug 29th. *We understand that there are a variety of reasons for registering late. We would love for your child to participate in SOGO. We are adding the extra fee because it is time consuming for us to add kids to our class rosters and processes which we set up right before and during the start of the sessions.
