SOGO Level 2 (Ages 10 - 16)
Running and Navigation
Through highly motivating activities and challenges, participants will navigate through adventure running stations as they learn about Adventure Running. Groups are 15 kids with one experienced coach. The group works on the adventure running fundamentals: speed, strength and agility, endurance and navigation. Brand new to adventure running? No problem! We’re excited to have you. Our experienced coaches are able to provide extra coaching support and well as group kids up for peer support to get new runners up to speed in no time. Level two participants are encouraged to attend a coach-supported local SOGO fun run and a regional navigation based run. Participants take part in SOGO Level 2 until they are ready to run two times a week venturing out of town to run in forest areas with the group of Level 3's. |
