2024 Fall Season Schedule
We are running a "mini" SOGO season this fall. You many recall that we used to run a full 8 weeks of programs in Calgary and Bragg Creek in the fall. We didn't do that in 2023 to help with the workload sustainability of delivering SOGO. After feedback from parents who missed the fall season and the popularity of our Bragg Creek program, we decided to run 4 weeks of Bragg Creek programming on Saturdays in the Fall of 2024.
The 2024 Fall SOGO program runs for 4 weeks from Sat Sep 14 to Oct 5th. The locations for each day will be confirmed later this summer. The locations will vary between Redwood Meadows, Banded Peak School, West Bragg Creek and Station Flats.
The popularity of our Bragg Creek programs is that the sessions are 90 minutes - which can give the parents a chance to drop of their child and then get out for a hike, bike, run, etc themselves.

For our SOGO Navigator (level 3) aged kids, we would love to see you at Foothills Orienteering Wednesday evening events this fall.
Please note that this is a tentative schedule subject to securing permits and adequate registration numbers.
SOGO Program Fees
$90 for this fall session.
Wait-list
If your desired session time is full and you would like to be added to our wait-list, please fill out our wait-list form. If a session is popular we will attempt to add additional coaches if possible.

Registration closing date for Sep 6 at 11:59pm.
Limited registration will be available from Sep 7 until noon on Sept 20th for an additional $30 fee and any missed session will not be prorated*. Please email [email protected] if you want to register after Sep 6th.
*We understand that there are a variety of reasons for registering late. We would love for your child to participate in SOGO. We are adding the extra fee because it is time consuming for us to add kids to our class rosters and processes which we set up right before and during the start of the sessions.
Kananaskis Pass
Note that you will require a Kananaskis Pass to park our SOGO sessions held at Station Flats and West Bragg Creek (pass isn't required if you are just dropping off and picking up without parking)

- For our older SOGO Navigator kids we suggest attending FWOC Wednesday evening events to continue to hone your orienteering skills.
- For all our SOGO families - we strongly encourage your family to try orienteering at one of FWOC's Wednesday evening orienteering events. These events are suitable for all ages and abilities, and we will have someone on hand to show you the orienteering basics if needed.
