Everyone can get outside: move-learn-navigate.
SOGO Groups is a new program offered to local community groups and organizations in Calgary and the surrounding area. Our groups program has grown out of demand from local organizers, community club members and regular Calgarians, who have been a part of our SOGO evening programs and want to introduce SOGO to new audiences. SOGO Groups can enhance a program by providing students and athletes a fun, highly motivating adventure running activities: teaching students skills of navigation, endurance, agility, and speed. Your organization will coordinate with our SOGO staff to find the basic learning objectives of your group. We can then create the experience to fit the number of students, schedule and the outdoor space available. The SOGO program is an outdoor experience, we can design a program in a green space in your community or local parks. Our SOGO staff incorporates orienteering equipment and maps as well as a specialized timing system into the program. Our participants, staff and volunteers love the use of this specialized equipment. Program pricing is based on session durations and group size. We require a 15% non-refundable deposit to confirm your booking and full payment on the final day of your program. Our programs can be run as a single-day option or multi-day residency program in the spring and fall seasons. Prices are customized according to your group's request and range from $200 for 1-hour programs to $700 for full day, large group programs. For more information please get in touch with us, we look forward to working with you. |
