Main Events
SOGO Fun RunA family focused event that challenges all kids ages 2 to 18 to a wet, slightly muddy adventure running course. Different distances are available with fun challenges thrown into the mix. Race distances are approximately 1.5 km and 3.5 km. If your kids like the SOGO stations they will love this Adventure Run!

SOGO Winter Try It

SOGO Spook-OFamily focused Halloween event that will challenge kids of all ages to a spooky, slightly scary adventure running course. SOGO courses will be available with fun halloween challenges thrown in the cauldron too. Little kids can run in the afternoon and older kids can run at dusk for a slightly spookier adventure. If your kids like the SOGO stations they will love this Run. Spread your love of SOGO by inviting a friend! Dinner and goodies provided after the run.

Cost: FREE for all SOGO Participants and $5.00 (plus a yearly membership fee) for parents and friends.
These are low-key fun events for the entire family. With a variety of courses offered ranging in difficulty from beginner to expert and varying in length from 1k to up to 6k. If you feel you need a helping hand just show up and mention this is your first event and the organizers will make sure a club volunteer will help you get started.

In addition to the special SOGO events, all SOGO families are invited to take part in Wednesday night events hosted by our parent club, Foothills Orienteering. Wednesday events are beginner friendly and have courses that you can do as a family. Events will take place in Spring 2020.

Creekfest
Date: Saturday July 20, 2019 Time: 11:00am to 4:00pm Location: Fish Creek, Ranch Registration: FREE! Fish Creek Provincial Park is hosting its 9th annual Parks Day & Creekfest and SOGO will be there! This free family celebration of nature is a component of the Friends’ Watershed Awareness Campaign, designed to raise awareness in communities near the park about protecting our local waterways. Kids and families can have fun learning about environmental stewardship, conservation and biodiversity through educational games and activities!
