Summer Camps 2025

We are thrilled to be offering SOGO Adventure Running Summer Camps in July and early Aug 2025. Camp sessions will be filled with:
  • outdoor games
  • map-reading and navigation sessions
  • orienteering activities
  • lots of physical movement in natural terrain
  • exploration and adventure
  • fun!

CALGARY CAMPS

Possible Jul 14-18 camp
If there is demand, we may be able to offer a camp Jul 14-18 in Calgary, If you are interested in this option, please send an email to [email protected] and indicate if your preference would be for South, North or Central Calgary.

Calgary Camp #1 - 5 day full day Camp
Location: Fish Creek, Bebo Grove
Dates: July 28 - Aug 1
Ages: 5-11
Time: 9 am - 3:45
(kids may be dropped off starting at 8:40 and must be picked up by 4:05)
Fee: $400

Calgary Camp #2 - 4 day full day Camp
Location: Confederation Park
Dates: Aug 5 - 8
Ages: 5-11
Time: 9 am - 3:45
(kids may be dropped off starting at 8:40 and must be picked up by 4:05)
Fee: $320

  • Sibling Discount for Calgary based camps
    if you register more than one child from the same family, or if you register the same child in multiple camps, you'll receive 10% off each registration.
  • Age is determined as of July 1st, 2025
  • Locations are tentative
    Please note that all locations are tentative pending permit approval. Nearby parks will be chosen if there are any permit issues. All Camps are pending sufficient registration numbers.

CANMORE CAMPS

Canmore Camp #1 - 3 day afternoon Camp (this camp is a partnership between Trail Sports in Canmore and SOGO Adventure Running)
Location: Canmore Nordic Centre in Canmore
Dates: July 2-4
Time: 1-4 pm
Ages: 8-14
Fee: $220.50

Canmore Camp #2 - 5 day afternoon Camp (this camp is a partnership between Trail Sports in Canmore and SOGO Adventure Running)
Location: Canmore Nordic Centre in Canmore
Dates: July 7-11
Time: 1-4 pm
Ages: 8-14
Fee: $367.50

Canmore Camp #3 - 5 day afternoon Camp (this camp is a partnership between Trail Sports in Canmore and SOGO Adventure Running)

Equipment List
SOGO Adventure Running is an outdoor program involving moving through natural terrain. Kids need to be dressed for physical activity in the outdoors - they may get a little bit muddy!
  • Lunch for full day campers
  • Running or trail shoes with a good tread 
  • Athletic pants (long pants protect from prickles) and synthetic top
  • Wind jacket
  • Water bottle labelled with name, snacks
  • Layers in case it gets chilly or warm, and a rain jacket depending on the forecast

Registration closing date for Summer Camps
Registration for Summer Camps based in Calgary will close 1 week before the start of each Camp. Limited registration may be available in the week before the camp start for additional $30 fee if there are spaces available. Please email [email protected] if you want to register after registration has closed.

Wait-list
If your desired session time is full and you would like to be added to our Summer Camps wait-list, please fill out our wait list form. If feasible, we will try to add more staff if demand is high for a particular session, although we cannot guarantee this.
