About Us
We’re SOGO Adventure Running – a Calgary-based not-for-profit program run by Foothills Orienteering Club. We offer high quality, innovative Adventure Running programs for youth aged 3 – 18.
Our programs run in the north, north central, south central and south areas of Calgary in the Spring and Fall seasons. We aim for parents travelling no more than a 20-minute drive to reach a program location.
We’re proud to be affiliated with Orienteering Canada.
WHAT WE DO
Agility, Navigation, Speed, Endurance
With over 10 years of programming experience and serving an average of +900 youth per year, SOGO Adventure Running programs are the ideal combination of problem-solving, physical activity and fun to keep youth participants excited, engaged and active in the natural environment.
Adventure Running blends trail running and navigation skills in obstacle-filled adventures. It’s a learnable skill that offers a continuous stream of new challenges to overcome.
Youth can join our programs at any age. In fact, we encourage it!
SOGO Adventure Running is brought to you by Foothills Orienteering. The SOGO program has been developed in partnership with Adventure Running Kids (ARK) from Hamilton, Ontario. We thank the ARK developers and staff for their support and expertise.
